North Face Endurance Run 50-Miler Training Week’s 2 – 3 (The Good, Bad, and Almost Ugly)

Has it really been two weeks since I last blogged? I can’t believe how fast this is going. I’ve also realized that my “weeks” are mis-numbered, so I’m actually heading into week 4.  The past two weeks has had it’s ups and downs. I’m finding it hard to keep up with the training schedule and my asthma had decided that it doesn’t want to play nice. Continue reading

50 Miler Training – Week 2 con’t: Sole of the City 10k & Run on the Race Course

I’ve got 54 days until race day. It took a little bit of time, but I’m finally getting a little bit more comfortable with being on my own with training. Week 2 – North Face/Gortex 50 Miler Training (You’re on Your Own Kid)

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I love running with my group of friends. When I first started out it was just us the three of us. They talked while I grunted and gasped for air. They got me to mile one and eventually to mile 13.1. Continue reading

Puracyn Review and Giveaway!

I have to admit that I never heard of Puracyn until they reached out to me and I had to look them up to see what kind of would care it was and what made them special. Continue reading

No Guts, No Glory.

I haven’t blogged in over a week. After the HAT Run, I visited old friends in Savannah, Georgia and ate myself silly. Would you expect any less from me? I tell you, if you want great food…head South. I gained 4 lbs…FOUR GLORIOUS POUNDS! Here are just a few snapshots from vaca.
